Personal Finance Society (PFS) Diploma
The Personal Finance Society (PFS) is the professional body for the financial and planning profession in the UK. Accordingly, the PFS remit is to lead the Financial Planning community towards higher levels of professionalism. This is exhibited through technical knowledge, client service, and ethical practice. Furthermore, the PFS is part of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) group. The Diploma covers financial planning at a higher level than the Certificate in Financial Services. Accordingly, Advisers are better placed to offer their clients a more comprehensive approach to financial management. So this in turn ensures a higher level of advice.
European Financial Planning Assessment (EFPA)
The EFPA is the leading professional standards body for financial advisors and planners in Europe. Also, the EFPA has a code of professional ethics with which certified holders must comply.
